Ground Broken In New Village at Bay Creek

by Jessica Wright on May 1, 2008

Bay Creek is on the move with more exciting news…A ground-breaking ceremony was held on April 29th commemorating the start of construction in Bayside Village. The first homes in Bayside Village will be part of the “Carousel Collection” and are expected to be completed in 2008. The Carousel Collection are Victorian style homes reflected through architectural details, exterior treatment and landscaping.

Despite the lingering pressure in the homebuilding market nationwide, Bay Creek continues to expand its award-winning community in keeping with the vision of an extraordinary waterfront community defined by its natural setting.

Within a short walk to the pristine beach on the Chesapeake Bay, the first units of the Carousel Collection will be built by local builder Boytos & Boytos and are attractively priced to start at $389,900 for home and homesite. Five models are planned for the first Carousel Collection including The Trumpeter, Pelican’s Nest, Misty’s Run, Dolphin Bay, and The Skipjack.

“This is a rare real estate opportunity offering an exceptional, quiet lifestyle in the mid-Atlantic region,” said Jack Boytos, owner of Boytos & Boytos custom home builders. “The Carousel Collection is named for the Victorian carousel that will be housed in Bayside Village, a carefully planned community recalling the Victorian style of architecture so popular in Cape Charles, the Eastern Shore and other small waterside communities like those in classic New England and older southern towns.”

Bayside Village is distinguished by expansive views of the water, wide, gentle beach, inviting neighborhood walks, gardens, and various activity areas.
