Representatives of Dataw Island today announced that Dataw Island was recognized by Links magazine as one of the “Best in Value” golf communities in America in the publication’s 2008 “Premier Properties” edition.
The selection process by Links editors included: cost; amenities; master-planning of communities; and location. Dataw Island was chosen due to the community’s affordable, yet unique mix of golf, tennis, croquet, community activism and topography. This is the first time Dataw Island has been recognized by the publication.
“We’re honored to be recognized by Links as one of the ‘Best in Value’ golf communities in America and feel it reflects our dedication to providing an affordable, yet amenity-laden community for our members and residents,” said Silvia Lalinde, director of membership and marketing of Dataw Island Club. “As we move forward, it is our goal to continue to expand on this award by providing one of the best lifestyle options available to prospective golf community residents.
