Amelia Island Plantation is making plans for a new hotel, renovating the existing hotel and meeting space. The new hotel will be called Amelia Links Lodge with 136 rooms and built to a five-star standard. One hundred and twenty-five rooms will be added to the existing hotel in the near future.
The resort also plans to add about 20,000 gross square feet of meeting space on a second floor to its 33,000-square-foot Amelia Inn Conference Center. A new majority owner, Redquartz Developments Atlanta was brought in to make renovations possible.
