April 28, 2010 – Amelia Island Plantation, a natural island destination in northeast Florida, is offering a Family Nature Adventure vacation from July 30th through August 1st 2010.
This nature camp is for families with children 6 years of age or older. The camp is $250 for families of four and $50 each for additional family members or $65 per individual for up to three family members.
The schedule of activities is as follows:
Friday:
Welcome introduction at the Nature Center with a tour of Amelia Island Plantation at night.
Saturday:
8:30-10:30 – birding on bicycles
1:00-4:30 – beach scavenger hunt and Seining activity
Sunday:
8:30-11:30 – crabbing, nature games, and a kayak trip at Walkers Landing
Amelia Island Plantation offers special room rates for nature camp participants, which include: a resort view two bedroom villa starting at $229 or an ocean view two bedroom villa starting at $279.
