Conceived in late 2007 and formally launched in January of 2008, our mission is to connect prospective second-, retirement-, and vacation-home buyers with the Southeast's premier private communities. Launched in 1972 by Former newspaperman J. Richard Wells, Leisure Publishing Company specializes in quality magazine and custom publishing and website design for the travel and real estate markets. As one of the Southeast's leading city and regional publishers, Leisure has won more than 240 awards for print and web publishing, including Roanoke’s Small Business of the Year and Most Ethical Business awards.
